U.K. Player Turns £10 Into £3.8m at BGO Casino
The player, who's known as 'Hilton' on the platform, scored the biggest prize ever paid at BGO and the second biggest ever paid by this Playtech-made game. His jackpot comes right behind the impressive £4.4m win that the same slot machine paid in February 2012.
"This is a tremendous win on one of our most popular games and on one of our newest licensees," said the CEO at Playtech, Shimon Akad. "The Playtech casino jackpot network continues to deliver outstanding results for our customers and, as we've seen from today's news, their loyal players."
"This is yet another great reason to be part of Playtech, the gaming industry's leading and most dynamic omni-channel company," Akad continued.
"I'd personally like the congratulate the player," the Chief Executive Officer at BGO Ohad Narkis stated. "This is a very exciting win and a life-changing amount of money for anyone."
In a note sent to the media, Narkis also explained that the super-sized win was made even more remarkable by the nickname of the player - as the company has recently hired Paris Hilton, the great-granddaughter of the founder of Hilton Hotels, as testimonial.
"The Hilton similarity is ironic and actually quite funny as we just launched our new TV campaign starring Paris," Narkis said. "This win really puts BGO on the map as the best site to play online casino games and slots."
Here's a video released by BGO right after the win, when the 'The Boss' Verne Troyer received a call about the episode:
